Church BBQ

Today our church family got together for a little BBQ after service, it was a lot of fun! Oh, Congratulations to Pastor Mike who won the competition for the best BBQ!

A couple of nights ago, Austin was promptly dragged into my dad's bathroom where all of his lovely locks (more like bush) was shaved. Austin complains constantly that he has "lost his lovely mane and his dignity!"

On the 23 of September we celebrated Allen's 9th Birthday! That little man is such a bundle of joy!

Once a week I get together with my friends and teachers Maureen and Ben to "rock out" on our viol d Gambas
I've always been so grateful for the influence that both of these people have in my life.

Ben's not only a awesome cellist, but an dedicated lover of Baroque Music...say anything against it and you might as well be digging your grave; I should know.

Miss Murchie, an outstanding violinist is now have to master playing an upright instrument with six strings! Like me, she's just started, but has took to it like white on rice; she's quite fantastic.

Adina's Soccer Game

Today Adina went with her soccer team to a near by town for her first soccer game. I would have gone along with them to take shots, but I was needed to look after the clan. Today, Dad will take the pictures and then I'll post them. We'll also let you know what the score is; who knows, maybe we'll actually get a picture of Adina's face this time!

A Good Day

Today has been a pretty good day. We exhausted ourselves with morning soccer games, drove people to music lessons, visited with friends,and went out at 8:30 at night to buy formula and diapers for Aric. Though one does tire from time to time from the constant flow of lifes problems and complexities, we gain strength by knowing that God sets those situations in motion to mold us into better people.

Today was soccer day, where Andrew, Allen, Alex and Alyssa had their games; where Austin reffed, Adam coached, and I snapped pictures. Our Dad also helped Alyssa during her game, she was too cute for words! Anyway, enjoy the pictures!
